Ebisu Crowned! Rydanz R Series Reigns Supreme Again

September 28, 2025 – Fukushima, Japan — At the thrilling D1 Grand Prix double round (Rd.5 & Rd.6) held at Ebisu Circuit, SHIBATA RACING TEAM driver Koudai Sobagiri delivered an outstanding performance. After claiming the Solo Run Champion and Chase Battle Runner-Up on September 27, he continued his momentum and triumphed on September 28, taking home the overall victory.

The competition gathered elite drift drivers from across Japan, with the Ebisu track demanding both precision and endurance. Sobagiri’s consistency and aggressive yet controlled driving won cheers from fans and proved once again the unmatched performance of Rydanz tyres in professional motorsport.

The Champion’s Tyres: Rydanz R23 & R31

On the Ebisu circuit, Sobagiri relied on the Rydanz R23 and Rydanz R31, two high-performance racing tyres that became his ultimate winning tools.

Rydanz R31

Engineered for drifting, with reinforced outer tread blocks and serrated edges that deliver exceptional lateral grip and stability during extreme cornering. Wide longitudinal grooves paired with auxiliary drainage channels create an efficient 3D drainage system, ensuring confident wet performance. Its high-performance compound and strengthened shoulder design provide durability under intense heat and heavy racing loads.

Rydanz R23

Developed for versatile driving needs with a racing compound that unleashes maximum grip and passion on the track. A zigzag groove design and 3D drainage network break through water films for reliable wet traction. Chamfered outer tread blocks “bite” the road during cornering, while continuous central ribs ensure stability under acceleration and braking. Variable pitch tread blocks and wear-resistant compound balance performance handling with extended tyre life.

Proven on the Track

At Rydanz, we live by our philosophy “ONLY FOR YOUR DRIVES” — from factory innovation to track competition, every tyre is crafted with precision engineering and validated through real racing. Sobagiri’s Ebisu victory is not only a driver’s triumph but also the ultimate proof of Rydanz racing tyres’ championship performance.
